The H.I.T. Center of RI is a private, indoor baseball and softball training facility built for one purpose: to provide cutting-edge tools in a space designed for high-intensity team practices. Our mission is simple — make team training easy for coaches, effective for players, and affordable for organizations.
With full access to today’s leading sports technology, coaches and instructors can train their athletes more efficiently. Our climate-controlled facility features 10 individual batting and pitching tunnels, experienced instructors for personal and small group lessons, baseball and softball Hack Attack pitching machines, the HitTrax analytics and gaming system, new balls in every cage each season, multiple baseball ProMounds, upgraded safety equipment, and bright LED lighting. For our families, we offer a clean, 1,500 sq. ft. waiting area, separate professionally sanitized men’s and women’s bathrooms, two 70" TVs streaming sports and music, and device charging stations. What We Do
FACILITY Services

While the H.I.T. Center is a go-to training space for teams, we also offer private baseball and softball lessons for players of all ages and skill levels. Our trusted network of experienced instructors provides focused training in hitting, pitching (softball only), catching, and fielding, tailored to each athlete’s needs. Lessons take place in our fully upgraded facility, equipped with advanced technology, professional-grade equipment, and the space instructors need to help players grow. Whether your child is just getting started or working to reach the next level, we’re here to support their journey. All private lessons are subject to instructor availability. Wait lists may occur during the offseason.
Baseball Cage Rentals (no membership needed)
Renting a private baseball cage at the H.I.T. Center gives you access to a clean, climate-controlled space equipped with Hack Attack pitching machine, high-density foam machine balls, baseballs, tees, and other training tools. Our 'Cage 10' hitting tunnel is optimized for baseball, and lets you train without distractions. Flexible rental options make it easy to fit quality reps into any schedule. Must reserve a minimum of 8 weeks on a set schedule; open access not permitted.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS – SOFTBALL ONLY
If you're planning to take lessons with a H.I.T. Center softball instructor — or simply want a space to train on your own — a softball membership is required. Memberships are individual and per player; we do not currently offer family plans.
BASEBALL CAGE RENTALS
Players can purchase a batting cage package (8-week minimum) and reserve a dedicated weekly time slot (subject to availability). Please note: we do not offer walk-in access, so a consistent schedule is required.
Our baseball cage is fully equipped with everything you need to train at a high level, including a Hack Attack pitching machine, high-density foam balls for velocity training, real leather baseballs for tee and front toss work, heavy-duty Tanner tees, resistance bands, and more specialized tools.
