H.I.T. Center of RI, LLC
The H.I.T. Center of RI is a membership-based, indoor facility designed for High Intensity Training in softball and baseball. Co-Founders Joe Roumelis and Jeff Pallotta, two active coaches, established H.I.T. in April 2022 after years of bringing their teams to indoor facilities that never truly met their expectations. What might those be? For starters, the space had to comfortably hold 15-20 kids at a time, have all equipment onsite (e.g., no lugging around machines and buckets in the dead of winter), real leather balls, a few analytics tools, great lighting, and a clean environment. Most importantly, a proper training space needs an efficient layout, supporting a multi-faceted practice in two hours flat. After years of toiling in gyms and cages that never hit the mark, an opportunity to support their vision presented itself in Smithfield, RI., and the H.I.T. Center was born. In a very short time, H.I.T. has become a highly sought after destination for teams, players, instructors, and organizations to call home. We've spared no expense in outfitting our new climate-controlled facility with today's leading equipment and technology, proudly offering a bright, super clean, state-of-the-art space that is open year-round.
As a busy indoor facility, the H.I.T. Center is an expertly designed space where ease of use is paramount. But our mission is to make it both effective and affordable. Youth sports are getting ever more expensive, and we understand indoor training over the winter for teams can get costly. Our mission is to provide organizations with the highest quality tools, equipment, and technology available at fair prices, so team training fees don't blow your budget. H.I.T. ownership plans to strengthen our partner organizations by ensuring all program levels get the quality training they need without skimping on the advantages of an elite training facility. After all, the development of players is our ultimate priority. It's what coaches want and players need.
At the H.I.T. Center, we’re passionate about practice! We don't just rent space, we’re training teams on how to extract the most out of their time spent in our facility. The H.I.T. Staff ultimately wants every player who trains here to improve, and to do that a team needs an efficient practice plan for the space. Those can be shared at no cost. We will also provide training to coaches on how to use the equipment and technology available to them, so they can pass this knowledge on through their practice plans. No matter your team’s experience level, H.I.T. is ready to help. Should you wish to hire a H.I.T. trainer to help run a practice, we can provide that too.
