H.I.T. STAFF

H.I.T. Center's co-founder and Head Coach of the D1 State Champion, nationally ranked La Salle Academy softball team. Joe also serves as Director & 18U Head Coach for the Fury Platinum Northeast travel softball organization. He manages programming, sales, and marketing at the H.I.T. Center.

Jeff is the co-founder of H.I.T. Center and currently serves as an Assistant Coach for the Fury Platinum Northeast 18U program. Jeff is the Finance Director for the H.I.T. Center and was a SS for the Univ. of Rhode Island (Class of '98). 

Jordan is the head coach of the 2024 D-III champion Cranston East Thunderbolts. A Johnston native, Jordan played INF for the SCSU Owls and holds an M.A. in Sports Management from the Univ. of New Haven.  Coach Jordan also manages H.I.T. Apparel for the facility.

Gian was a 2x RI Gatorade POTY while at Bishop Hendricken H.S. A Louisville Slugger All-American ('15), he attended Boston College (Class of '19).  Played in the prestigious Cape Cod League for the nation's top prospects. Catcher for the NY Boulders of the Ind. League. Gian is our lead baseball advisor at H.I.T.

Coach Bella is a Lincoln native, pitching collegiately for the Clark Univ. Cougars (Class of '21), and is currently the pitching coach at her alma mater (Clark U.) A Spanish teacher at South High School in Worcester, MA, Coach Bella has been instructing young softball athletes for more than 9 years.

A proud native of Woonsocket, Coach Dickie played baseball at PC as a pitcher and has coached softball since 2000. He was the NFHS Northeast Section COTY in 2013 leading his Lincoln Lions softball team in back-to-back undefeated seasons and two D1 State Championships ('12 & '13).

RI native and Moses Brown alum, Coach Celia excelled at both Cornell and St. John’s across 5 seasons, earning Second-Team All-Ivy honors in 2023. Starting in over 150 games, she posted consistent offensive production with multiple home runs, doubles, and nearly 70 career RBIs. Celia also hit the 100 career hit mark in April 2025 at St. John's.

Coach Jess is a native of North Providence and was a PROJO All-State catcher for the N.P. Cougars in 2018 (2nd Team) & 2019 (1st Team).  She specializes in hitting and catching instruction.

Coach E was a two-time KCAC All-Conf infielder at Bethany College ('05-'06). He has coached at CCRI, Siena, URI, Brown, and currently serves as the head coach of the Mount St. Charles Prep baseball team. Idris is the founder of the L&M Baseball organization.

Coach Pete, an elementary educator for 17 years, is a PE teacher in the Smithfield school system, currently serving Pleasant View Elementary. He is the Asst. Varsity Baseball Coach for SHS, helping the Sentinels win a D1 Division Championship in 2021.

As a UMass standout, Chris Morgan earned New England All-Star honors in 2003 after batting .336 with seven homers and 32 RBIs. A four-year starter, he hit .317 with 23 home runs, 35 doubles, and 115 RBIs. He also played in the Cape Cod League and now coaches with Fury Platinum Softball.
